Dr. Robert Khayat, star multi-sport player for pre-1970 Moss Point “Central” High School, provides insight into what it was like growing up in Moss Point – his friends, the games they played, and the influence his father and brother had on his career. He explains why his father advised him to be a placekicker and a catcher. Khayat later became a star placekicker for Ole Miss and in the NFL. After his athletic career, he served as Chancellor for Ole Miss, from which he is now retired.
